Browser Extension Privacy Policy

Last updated: March 12, 2026

What this extension does

The Entryway browser extension lets you send property listings from Zillow, StreetEasy, Redfin, and Compass to your Entryway account with one click. Properties are added to your property log and discussed with your AI assistant.

Permissions and why we need them

The extension requests access to the following websites:

This permission allows the extension to check the URL of pages you visit on these sites to detect property listing pages. This check happens entirely on your device — no browsing data is sent to our servers. The extension uses this to decide whether to show the "Send to Entryway" button.

What data is sent

When you click "Send to Entryway," the extension sends two things to our server:

Data is only sent when you explicitly click the send button. Nothing is ever sent automatically.

What we do not collect

Data storage

The extension stores an authentication token on your device (using your browser's local storage API) to keep you signed in. This token is created when you link the extension to your Entryway account using a one-time code. No other data is stored locally.

Property URLs you send are stored in your Entryway account alongside your other property data, subject to Entryway's standard terms of service.

Disconnecting

You can disconnect the extension at any time by:

Disconnecting revokes the extension's access to your account. Properties previously sent remain in your property log.
